Microwave Bread & Butter Pudding
INGREDIENTS
- 4 thin slices of bread and butter
- 50 g 2
oz sultanas or currants
- 50 g 2 oz sugar
- 450 ml 1/4 pint milk
- 2 eggs
- nutmeg
Microwave Bread & Butter Pudding Method:
Cut the bread and butter into strips. Arrange butter side up in a suitable dish.Sprinkle the layers with fruit and sugar.Beat together the milk and eggs, and pour over the bread.
Sprinkle the top with nutmeg and let the pudding stand for 15 minutes before cooking on HIGH for 7-8 minutes
Power: HIGH
Serves 4
Cooking time: 7-8 mins.
Dish: 1-5 liter ( 3 pt ) casserole
