ALWAYS use two pieces of cling film to cover large items, allowing an overlap of 2.5 cm ( 1 inch ) minimum.
ALWAYS wash and dry jacket potatoes. Choose even-sized ones, pierce them, and wrap them in kitchen paper.
ALWAYS loosen cling film during stand times. ALWAYS remove lids and cling film away from you.
DO NOT cook a small quantity of food in a large dish as it will overcook.
DO NOT use lids with holes in them. DO NOT pierce cling film.
DO NOT use roaster bags, Freezer film, Saran wrap ( Snappies ), or perforated cling films.
DO NOT use plastic cookware as cling film will not adhere.
DO NOT cook different sizes together. DO NOT cook individual potatoes over 225g ( 8 oz . ) each.
DO NOT allow it to form a vacuum over the food. This will squash the food.
