Dish: 2 liters ( 4 pt ) casserole and serving dish
- 4 peppers ( red or green )
- 375 g or 12oz mince
- I onion, peeled and sliced
- 150 ml or ½ pt red wine or stock
- 1 x 396 g or 14 oz can tomatoes ( drained )
- 2 x 15 ml or 2 tbsp tomato purée
- 1 x 15 ml or 1 tsp cornflour
- 1 x 5 ml or 1 tbsp mixed herbs
- 100 g or 4oz gruyere cheese

Peppers Method:
Slice a lid off the top of each pepper and reserve. Remove the seeds and pith without puncturing the skin. Mix together all the
ingredients for the filling in a large casserole.
Cover with a lid or cling
film and cook on All or on MEDIUM for 25 minutes. Leave to cool slightly
Fill the peppers and replace the lids, place them on a dish. cover with cling film and cook on Auto or on HIGH for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with the grated cheese Cook for 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
