Microwave Many Bean Salad

INGREDIENTS

  • 50 g or 2 oz black beans
  • 50 g or 2oz black-eyed beans
  • 50 g  or 2oz butter beans
  • 50 g or 2oz  flageolet beans
  • 50 g or 2oz  haricot beans
  • 25g or 1 oz chickpeas
  • 25 g or 1 oz  red kidney beans
  • 2 x 15 ml or 2 tbsp oil
  • 2½ pls hot water
  • Vinaigrette Dressing :
  • I clove
  • garlic, crushed
  • 3 x 15 ml  or 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 x 15 ml or  tbsp wine vinegar
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • chopped fresh parsley 

Microwave Many Bean Salad Method:

Combine the beans, oil, and water in a casserole dish. Cover the dish with a lid. Bring beans and hot water to a boil on HIGH for 10 minutes. Cook on LOW for 30-40 minutes. Drain. Mix the vinaigrette ingredients together. Toss the beans in the dressing. Chill.

 Power: HIGH - LOW

Serves 6-8

Cooking time: 50 mins.

Dish : 3 liters ( 6 pt ) casserole
