Microwave Coconut Crunch Jacks
INGREDIENTS
- 125 g or 5oz demerara sugar
- 125 g or 5oz rolled oats
- 25 g or 1oz desiccated coconut
- 125 g or 5oz soft margarine
MICROWAVE COCONUT CRUNCH JACKS METHOD:
Line the dish with
greaseproof paper. In a bowl mix together
the dry ingredients. Beat in the margarine. Press into a prepared dish and cook on HIGH
for 5 minutes. Divide into squares
while still hot.
VARIATION:
For traditional flapjacks omit the coconut and add 1 x 5 ml ( 1 tsp ) ground ginger
Power: HIGH
Makes 12-16 slices
Cooking time: 5 mins.
