Serves 4
Cooking time: 5-7 mins.
Dish: 1 liter ( 2 pt ) basin
INGREDIENTS
- 150 ml or ½ pt dry white wine
- 150 ml or ½ pt milk
- 100 g or 4.oz gruyere cheese
- 100 g or 4oz emmental cheese
- 1 x 15 ml or 1 tbsp flour
- 2x 15 ml or 2 tbsp kirsch
- black pepper
- I clove garlic
Microwave Cheese Fondue Method:
Put the wine and milk
into a basin and heat on HIGH for 2 minutes. Grate the cheeses.
Add to the wine mixture. Heat on LOW for 5-7
minutes stirring frequently. Mix the flour to a
paste with the Kirsch, stir into the cheese mixture, crush the clove of
garlic, and add.
Heat on LOW for 3-5
minutes, stirring once. Serve with chunks of
French bread and pieces of fresh vegetables to dip in.
