PROSCIUTTO AND PAPAW
Prosciutto is Italian raw ham; if unavailable, substitute slices of leg ham
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 papaw
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1/2 red pepper
- 1/2 green pepper
- ½ cup oil
- 2 tablespoons dry white wine
- salt,
- pepper
- ½ clove garlic
PROSCIUTTO AND PAPAW RECIPE:
Cut papaw in quarters, and remove seeds. Arrange a slice of prosciutto over each quarter of papaw. Slice peppers thinly, and put into the bowl. Put oil, wine, salt, crushed garlic, and pepper in a screw-top jar; shake well. Pour dressing over peppers: mix well. Arrange peppers with dressing over papaw and pro scout Refrigerate until ready to serve
Serves 4.
