SMOKED EEL AND SALMON PATE
INGREDIENTS:
SMOKED EEL PATE
- 1kg smoked eel
- 60g butter
- 60g packaged cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cream
- salt,
- pepper
SALMON PATE
- 220g can red salmon
- 125g packaged cream cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise salt, pepper
- 2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
- 125g butter
SMOKED EEL PATE RECIPE:
Remove skin
from eel, scrape flesh from bones, place the flesh in a food processor or blender, process or blend until smooth, add soft butter and cream cheese, then lemon
juice and cream, process until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Place in the serving dish. Refrigerate overnight.
Serves 4.
SMOKED SALMON PATE RECIPE:
Combine drained salmon, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a blender or food processor. Add melted butter, and blend until smooth. Spoon salmon mixture into serving dish, and refrigerate until set.
