Microwave Frozen Vegetables

Bags of vegetables up to 450 g ( 1 lb ) can be cooked by power and time, in the bags they are packaged in. Place the bag on a piece of kitchen paper on a plate and either snip off the corner or cut a cross in the bag. Shake or stir the vegetables before serving.

Most frozen vegetables require no added water. However, beans, broccoli, and cauliflower benefit from the addition of 2 x 15 ml ( 2 tbsp ) water.

For auto-sensor cooking, only the vegetables must be cooked either in a casserole dish with a lid or in a dish covered with cling film. DO NOT pierce the cling film. For large quantities of vegetables, stir or re-arrange after half the cooking time.
