Microwave  Fish Pie

 INGREDIENTS 

  • 450 g or 1lb white fish, skinned 
  • 25 g  or  1 oz  butter 
  • 25g or 1 oz flour 
  • 300 ml or ½ pint milk
  •  salt and pepper 
  • 100 g or  4 oz instant potato butter 
  • 25 g  or 1oz cheese 

Microwave Fish Pie Recipe:

Make up an instant potato as directed. Stir in 25 g ( 1 oz ) butter and leave to cool. In a jug melt butter on HIGH for 45 seconds. Stir in flour. Gradually blend in milk, stirring well. Heat on HIGH for 2-3 minutes, Stirring occasionally. Put the fish on a plate, Cover it with cling film,

Cook on HIGH for 5 minutes or on the Auto sensor. Flake fish into a mixing bowl, stir in sauce, and season well. Put the fish and sauce mixture into a suitable dish. Spread potato evenly over the top and sprinkle with cheese. Heat on HIGH for 5 minutes. Garnish with slices of tomato and parsley. Serve with carrots and peas.
