INGREDIENTS
- 1 x half-shoulder New Zealand lamb ( knuckle or blade ) - defrosted
- 1 x 15 ml or 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 x 15 ml or 1 tbsp Turmeric
- 1 x 15 ml or 1 tbsp English mustard
- 1 x 15 ml or 1 tbsp Honey
- few drops of Tabasco sauce
- 1 x lemon, sliced
Microwave Devilled Half Shoulder of Lamb Method:
Weight the lamb and place it on a roasting rack in a shallow dish. Mix together the remaining ingredients and spread over the lamb. Cover the dish with the dome and cook on MEDIUM for a calculated time, or on Auto, auto weight.
At the end of cooking, stand lamb. wrapped in foil, shiny side in for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with lemon slices and serve with natural yogurt and cucumber dressing and brown rice.
