PASTA WITH CREAMY EGG AND SEAFOOD SAUCE
This is a great way to dress up smoked oysters or make stunning sauce for pasta
INGREDIENTS:
- 375g pasta
- 2 hard-boiled eggs
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 clove garlic can to a
- 60g butter
- 3 tablespoons plain flour
- ½ teaspoon dry mustard
- salt,
- pepper
- 105g can smoked mussels or oysters
- 3 tablespoons chopped chives
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
PASTA WITH CREAMY EGG AND SEAFOOD SAUCE RECIPE:
Cook pasta in boiling salted water for 10 to 15 minutes; drain. Blend or process eggs and milk until smooth. Cook crushed garlic in butter for 2 minutes, stir in flour, add egg mixture, mustard, salt, and pepper, and cook, stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens, reduce heat, and simmer few minutes. Stir in drained oysters or mussels and chives. Serve over hot pasta, sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
